What are night driving glasses?
Night driving glasses have a yellow or amber tint, usually with an anti-reflective coating, and are sold to make oncoming headlights feel less harsh. In Pakistan they are popular with car drivers and bike riders, on motorways and on city roads lit by bright LED headlights. You will also see them sold as "night vision glasses" — the same yellow tint under a bolder name.
Do they work? The honest answer
Many drivers say headlights feel more comfortable with a yellow tint. But in a 2019 driving-simulator study, yellow-lens glasses did not help drivers spot pedestrians any sooner at night, with or without headlight glare. Any tint removes some light, and at night your eyes need all the light they can get.
So we sell them as a comfort tint, not as a vision or safety upgrade. Drive exactly as carefully as you would without them. The full evidence, and what actually reduces glare, is in our guide: do night driving glasses work?
Our night-driving options
The Night-Driving Glasses with Magnetic Clip-On come with yellow lenses fitted in a light TR-90 frame, plus a polarized clip for daytime sun (Rs 2,499). The Coco Man 4-in-1 sets have blue-protect lenses in the frame and three magnetic clips — black for sun, polarized green-brown, and yellow for after dark (Rs 3,250).

Yellow tint or clear anti-glare?
Anti-glare (anti-reflective) is a clear coating that cuts reflections off the lens without darkening anything — the option eye doctors usually point drivers towards. Our Premium Anti-Glare lens is Rs 1,200. A yellow tint adds comfort for some people but removes a little light.
If you need glasses to drive, the single biggest help is an up-to-date prescription. Halos and starbursts that keep getting worse can be a sign of an eye condition such as cataract, so get them checked by an eye doctor.
